“One of the ways we benefit the players is to have a good support staff,” he said. “Player development areas, which could be behavioral issues, it could be peer intervention, it could be developing leadership, it could be how to help guys work on being successful … we have a lot of these programs implemented, and it’s helped our players. It’s helped them have a better opportunity to be successful in life.
