SEC’s best game prices are growing at fastest rate in nation
Despite leading the nation in attendance year after year, the Southeastern Conference isn’t the most expensive college football ticket in the nation — at least, not on the face of it.
The SEC’s average of $60.50 for its high-demand games in 2010 is nearly $24 less than the average ticket to a high-demand game in the Big 12 Conference. But SEC fans often pay much more than that, in the form of season tickets and required donations, to access the most sought-after games.
