Though it is entirely predictable, the Mississippi media has completely ignored part of the story line with regards to the lawsuit filed last week by the Boards of Supervisors from Jasper and Smith counties over road and bridge funding.
A majority of the boards of supervisors of Jasper and Smith counties are controlled by Democrats.
That’s a pretty important piece of political contextual data that’s been absent from the coverage for what is shaping up to be a political fight of trying to legislate policy via litigation.
