Sweltering temperatures could not keep state and local officials, as well as friends and family, from filling two Tate County courtrooms last week for Justice Ann Lamar’s investiture ceremony.
Current Governor Haley Barbour, former Governor Ronnie Musgrove, and many attorneys and judges joined well-wishers from across the region to see Justice Lamar become the newest member of the Mississippi State Supreme Court.
