Dr. Thomas Dobbs, state epidemiologist, set to resign
Mississippi state epidemiologist to resign Mississippi’s state epidemiologist is set to resign. Dr. Thomas Dobbs is expected to formally announce his departure shortly, said Mississippi State Department of Health spokesperson Liz Sharlot. Hinds Co. DA Smith arrested, accuses AG’s office of conspiring against him
Hinds County DA arrested Hinds County District Attorney Robert Shuler Smith was reportedly arrested Wednesday. Smith is accused in a six-count affidavit with providing information to assist criminal defendants.
