Biloxi City Councilman Robert Deming III launched his Republican primary challenge for Mississippi’s Fourth Congressional District this morning, making him the third challenger to Congressman Steven Palazzo.
Qualifying ends this Friday, January 10th.
Earlier this week, Carl Boyanton and Samuel Hickman both qualified as Republicans for the South Mississippi seat.

Deming practices law on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and in 2013 he won his first election to the Biloxi City Council.
In a release announcing his candidacy, Deming asserts that Congressman Palazzo has failed to be a leader on keeping America on solid financial ground for future generations,
Deming stated, “To get America back on the right track will require a Congress willing to make the difficult choices which our politicians won’t entertain. President Trump needs leaders in Washington DC to back the promises he made to the American people, and since the incumbent won’t do it – I will… Steven Palazzo never met a budget increase he wouldn’t vote for, but I know we can do better than that.”
Like all in the race, Deming says he is a strong supporter of President Trump and his agenda for America.
The Deming campaign has a website up and running where you can find his platform statements on issues ranging from health care to national defense.
