GREEN BAY, Wis. — He’s 41 — and starting to look every day of it — but even while facing possible sexual harassment charges for leaving inappropriate phone messages for a former female New York Jets employee, playing on one good leg and falling down, Brett Favre makes the game more exciting than any other NFL player.
Favre has orchestrated 44 game-winning comebacks (including playoffs), and he almost notched No. 45 on Sunday night at Lambeau Field. How close did he come? So close some of his former Green Bay Packers teammates believed it would happen again.
