Good teams such as Auburn, LSU make their own luck

Lucky.
Of course, there’s some truth to that, but there’s a lot more than luck involved for the two teams. To suggest luck is the prevailing factor in their current status is to ignore the fact that both are very good teams. What’s the old saying? Rather be lucky than good? Auburn and LSU are both.
Both teams are lucky to have players who make a difference, yet no one would use the word lucky to describe how Auburn quarterback Cam Newton and LSU defensive back-kick returner Patrick Peterson have played this season.
