Adrian Peterson shows what football’s about
CLEVELAND – Adrian Peterson burst through a wide hole on the left side of the line, shrugged off a couple of arm tackles, and squared his shoulders to face Browns safety Brodney Pool, creating one of those moments when certain football players wonder why they didn’t choose a more civilized sport.
Pool knew Peterson could knock him into Lake Erie, but as he braced, Peterson deked right, then veered left. Pool flailed and flopped to the ground like an extra in “Scarface.”
