MS Dems promise to hold collective breath for ‘Turning Mississippi Blue’ rally tonight

Mississippi Democrats will celebrate the first 2008 presidential debate with a political rally tonight, Thursday, Sept. 25, in Oxford where party candidates and leaders are expected to speak.

The “Turning Mississippi Blue” rally starts at 6 p.m. at the Oxford Activity Center, with political speaking expected to begin at about 6:30 p.m. The political rally is free and open to the public and news media.
