While his letter to help local DAs is a nice gesture, we would be more impressed if he had acted on his own and with the same vigor he has shown in other cases, such as going after insurance companies.
In our free society based on the rule of law, a corruption free legal system is at least as important as reliable insurance.
Hood may be trying to be “better late than never,” but we say he is “a day late and a dollar short.”
