Jackson Mayor Frank Melton says he may have to use political tactics in response to council members refusing to confirm his department head candidates. The mayor made the announcement in the wake of two of his nominees not gaining the majority approval of the council.
Melton says, “We have four other city council memblers that are doing everything they can to distract the progress of this city moving forward, so I may have to do some management by veto over the next several months.”
