Farish Street now being revitalized – CL Letter to the Editor

I was born in Jackson and I remember when the Farish Street area was a thriving community. However, over the years, the Farish Street area has deteriorated. But I am happy to see that it is starting to reclaim its former glory.

I read that five new businesses, including the King Biscuit Cafe, will soon be calling Farish Street home (“Revitalizing Farish Street,” March 4.

I encourage those who haven’t done so to go down to Farish Street and witness firsthand the development that is currently taking place.

It’s quite impressive.
