Lott, Cochran have more than $1M in war chests
The Clarion-Ledger, 7/19/7 While it’s not certain they will need it, each of Mississippi’s Republican senators has raised more than $1 million toward re-election, their latest reports to the Federal Election Commission show. Sen. Thad Cochran, who has represented Mississippi in the Senate since 1979, has not said whether he’ll run for re-election next year.
