Miss. jobless rate rises to 9.4%

Miss. jobless rate rises to 9.4% Mississippi’s jobless rate inched upward in March, according to figures released today. The state’s unemployment rate was 9.4 percent, up from 9.3 percent in February, according to state Department of Employment Security. It was 6.1 percent a year earlier. Clarion-Ledger 4/22/9
