Mississippi Democratic Party Statement on Campaign for Southern Equality v. Mississippi Department of Human Services

Jackson, MS – Following the court’s decision to overturn Mississippi’s ban on same-sex adoption, Mississippi Democratic Party spokesperson, Ouida Meruvia, issued the following statement.

“The court’s landmark ruling tonight is a decisive victory for all Mississippi families. The Mississippi Democratic Party is proud to stand with all Mississippians, regardless of who they are or who they love, as we work together for full equality.
