RELEASE:
Palazzo Votes to Override President’s Veto
Washington, DC – Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-4) released a statement today after the House voted to override the president’s veto of H.R. 3762.
“After seven long years, last month Congress finally sent a bill to the president’s desk that strips funding from Obamacare as well as Planned Parenthood. Not surprisingly, the president vetoed this bill. Today, we continued to voice the will of the American people by voting to override the president’s veto. Furthermore, this proves that without a doubt Congress has the power to repeal Obamacare once we have a Republican in the White House.”
