Marshand Crisler uses racial campaigning in handouts to black constituents – ‘If WE show up, WE win’

By: Magnolia Tribune - October 19, 2011

Today, Kingfish dug out a story from the Macon Beacon newspaper highlighting the different pushcards used by former Jackson City Councilman and failed mayoral candidate, Marshand Crisler. Crisler is running against incumbent Dick Hall.

To black constituents, he writes, “I will vote to increase minority participation in MDOT contracts. The Central District is now majority Democrat and majority African American. It’s simple. If we show up, we win. On November 8, vote for CHANGE in Central Mississippi by electing a TRUE DEMOCRAT.”
