Representative Sara Thomas retires from state legislature

In a letter addressed to Speaker of the House Philip Gunn, Thomas said:

“It is with a great deal of mixed emotions and heartfelt memories of the past twenty-one years that I have been vested with the extraordinary honor of serving within the hallowed institution of the Mississippi Legislature.”

Thomas served House District 31. Her retirement will be effective June 30, 2018.
