Travis Childers challenging Thad Cochran to series of debates
JACKSON, Mississippi — The Democratic nominee for Senate, former U.S. Rep. Travis Childers, says Mississippi voters should get to make a side-by-side comparison of him and the man he’s trying to unseat.
Childers is holding a news conference Thursday to challenge six-term Republican Sen. Thad Cochran to a series of debates before the Nov. 4 election.
