Two Companies Adding 100 Jobs in Tishomingo

Gov. Phil Bryant and other state and local officials cut the ribbon today on two new industries in the growing Yellow Creek Industrial Park and Port in Tishomingo County north of Iuka.

Dennen Steel Corp. cut the ribbon today to officially open the company’s new 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The project represents a $7.4 million company investment and is creating 50 new jobs.

Dennen Steel, a contract stamping manufacturer of steel products, will purchase large master coils from steel mill producers and process steel slit coil into precision stampings, fabricated metal parts and assemblies at the Tishomingo County location.

“We welcome Dennen Steel as the newest member of Mississippi’s business community,” Bryant said. “The investment and jobs being created by Dennen Steel are further proof that ‘Mississippi Works’, and the company’s decision to locate here will positively impact the community and the state as a whole. I thank the company for its investment in our state, its confidence in our business climate and for creating these new job opportunities for the area’s workers.”
