South Mississippians serving as GOP delegates
Gov. Phil Bryant said he remembers watching the 1964 Republican National Convention on television as a child and thinking, “One day, it would be a great experience to be there.”
Monday through Thursday, weather permitting as Tropical Storm Isaac threatens Florida, Bryant will serve as chair of Mississippi’s delegation of 40 plus 38 alternates to the convention in Tampa. The group includes four delegates from South Mississippi.
