A public hearing is planned in Gautier from noon to 7 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Jackson County Campus on regulations to lease state waters in the Gulf of Mexico for oil and gas drilling.
Dan Turner, Mississippi Development Authority spokesman, said the comment period, which had been set for Jan. 20, also would be extended.
