Palazzo answers budget questions
GULFPORT — U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo fielded an odd mix of questions from members of the Orange Grove-Lyman Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday.
They included: “Will Medicare and Social Security really be cut by 8 percent?” and “What is your email address?”. Also, “Can military service dogs be classified as canine veterans so they can be shipped back to the United States after their service?”
On Medicare and Social Security being cut 8 percent, Palazzo said, “Not that I’m aware of (in House plans).”
