TUSCALOOSA — Some recruiting classes shrink in the rearview mirror. Their initial hype turns out to be false hope.
Not so for the 2008 Alabama class.

Nick Saban’s first full-year class was ranked No. 1 in America, but if it’s possible, that class looks even more impressive today as you study the first official Alabama depth chart of the 2009 season.
There are 68 players listed on offense and defense.
Incredibly, considering that none of them has more than a year of college experience, 20 of them come from the class of 2008.
