Lofty expectations for Nick Saban’s next Tide team
Chances are, if you walked into Nick Saban’s office, and he was there, and he wasn’t talking to or planning a visit with a recruit, he would be scribbling on a yellow legal pad, making a list.
A hit list.
It would look something like this:
Tony Barnhart? Dead.
Mark Schlabach? Dead.
Stewart Mandel? Dead.
What have these distinguished media members done that would make Saban madder than his secondary in the Sugar Bowl?
They’ve put out pre-pre-preseason polls – and ranked Alabama higher to start 2009 than it finished 2008.
