This is it, everyone. The Golden Era of Bowden is over.
No more Tommy, no more Bobby, no more Terry. Somewhere on the back nine of some golf course in Florida, Jeff Bowden is hitting it pin-high and at peace with the idea that it’s just not as bad as he thought it would be.
Bobby Bowden joked this summer that Jeff, his oft-criticized son and former offensive coordinator at Florida State, was the smart one in the family. He got out of coaching.
