Mercier v. Nutt: a fee dispute before Bobby DeLaughter
Long story short, Mercier says he went to work for David Nutt, P.A., and David Nutt & Associates, P.C., in December of 2001, worked his tail off in four litigations (including Kuhlman, a case in which he was already active before joining DN&A, as well as the Money Store, Frye, and Spann cases) – and got royally stiffed for his trouble.
