The Jeff Smith Campaign for the Speaker of the House of Representatives position continues to gain momentum and solidify more support. House members of different political backgrounds, geographical areas, and races have joined our team of supporters over the past several days.
Smith stated today,”I have met with both black and white members of the House this week and have received from them signed cards pledging support for me in the election for House Speaker that will be held in January. I am most gratified that these members have told me that they look forward to a House of Representatives that will be administered with both fairness and decorum under my leadership.”
Although the Jeff Smith Campaign still expects to draw more support we also expect to post another press release with a significant announcement within the next few days.
