‘I’m Not Trent’

Should businessman Tommy Duff enter the 2027 gubernatorial race in Mississippi, he would be joining a crowded Republican field that currently includes Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson, former Speaker Philip Gunn, and Attorney General Lynn Fitch. State Auditor Shad White is likely to join the lot after the midterm election and Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann is also said to be considering entering the fray.
