Melton Pledges to Run Clean Campaign
Jackson Mayoral candidate Frank Melton says Mayor Harvey Johnson is using negative campaign strategies to tarnish his reputation. The campaign propoganda targets Melton’s voting record.
You’ve probably seen the ads from both campaigns that started airing last week. During a press conference Monday afternoon in front of city hall, Melton said his opponent is unfairly attacking him.
“You have not heard me say anything negative about anybody,” Melton said. “Nobody wants to hear that.”
