Juneteenth is worth celebrating
Conservatives should freely embrace the celebration of Juneteenth. The holiday is not a rival to Independence Day. It is a celebration of a more fulsome and equal application of the ideals enshrined in the Declaration of Independence.

Headline grabbing “GOP” primary poll should be taken with a truckload of salt
To date, three general election polls that pitted Reeves directly against Presley have been conducted. Mississippi Today/Siena College ran a poll in January, which showed Reeves with a 4-point advantage head-to-head. Magnolia Tribune/Mason-Dixon's March poll showed Reeves with a 7-point advantage. An April Mississippi Today/Siena College showed Reeves with an 11-point advantage. If anything the trajectory of these polls would suggests that the momentum belongs to Reeves.

The Once and Future Conservative
More than any singular policy position, conservatism describes a set of beliefs on the relationship between God and man, man and government, and man and himself. Unfortunately, in the current era, the ideology of conservatism has been bastardized almost beyond recognition--a label affixed to whatever politician or policy the tribe prefers in any given moment, unmoored from any real principle.

National Democrats Line Up to Support Presley’s Bid for Governor
National Democrats with policy positions unaligned with Mississippi values are lining up to support Brandon Presley. Does Presley share the radical beliefs of Gavin Newsom, Stacey Abram, Phil Murphy, and John Bel Edwards, or is he "his own man"? He could put the question to bed by talking policy.

Bud Light to Target, what corporate America can learn from Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan once declined to get in the middle of a political fight because "Republicans buy sneakers, too." For Jordan, alienating a sizable portion of his customer base, to take on an issue that had nothing to do with the core business of selling sneakers, was a foolish play with real world consequences. Corporate America could stand to learn a thing or two from Mike in the midst of raging culture wars.
