Mayor Hospitalized Overnight
WAPT, 1/8/8 Jackson mayor Frank Melton spent the night in the hospital. American Medical Response officials said Mayor Frank Melton “nearly fainted” during Monday morning’s swearing-in ceremony for Hinds County officials on Monday. AMR emergency personnel were called and treated the mayor in an empty courtroom.
