Haley Barbour back surgery a success Haley Barbour is recovering Monday from a minor surgical procedure on his back. The Mississippi governor’s office put out a statement alerting the press to the procedure along with a comment from Barbour’s doctor saying surgery had been successful. Politico 4/20/11
