Palazzo talks to Coast Electric employees

PICAYUNE — Mississippi’s Fourth District GOP Congressman Steven Palazzo told Coast Electric employees on Monday in Picayune that the past 90 days “have been a blur,” but he added that he has accomplished what he told voters in the November election he planned to do.

Speaking at Coast Electric’s main office in Picayune on U.S. Highway 11 North, Palazzo, who unseated 21-year Democrat incumbent Gene Taylor last November, said that House members fired former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and replaced her with a “common sense conservative,” U.S. Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio).

Palazzo was sworn in in January and is in his first year of his first term.
