Commissioner of the Department of Revenue Herb Frierson, has resigned after four years of service, according to a tweet by Governor Tate Reeves.
DOR Commissioner Herb Frierson sent me his letter of resignation late yesterday after 40 years of service. He was a pretty good coach, a great legislator, excellent Commissioner, and an even better friend. Enjoy your well-deserved downtime, Herb!
