Stretch run starts with plenty of big games

Here’s a sobering thought: We’re already at Week 10 of the season.

But Week 10 begins the stretch run, and there are three big games involving six teams in the BCS top 15. No. 3 TCU takes its unbeaten record on the road to face No. 5 Utah, which also is unbeaten, in a contest that should decide the Mountain West title. No. 6 Alabama, the highest-placed one-loss team in the BCS standings, travels to Baton Rouge to play No. 10 LSU. And No. 15 Arizona visits No. 13 Stanford in what essentially is a Pac-10 elimination game.
