Latest on Mitch Mustain’s nasty breakup: lawsuit is dismissed

While USC backup quarterback Mitch Mustain tries to fight his way up the depth chart, people in his home state of Arkansas are still fighting over his messy departure from his former team, the Razorbacks.

Mustain — a native of Springdale, Ark., just down the road from the university — was a highly sought recruit thrust into the starting role as a freshman in 2006. He won a string of games but was eventually demoted, igniting a controversy.
