Auburn: Todd will start, but Burns will play, too

Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville says he’s sticking with the quarterback rotation of Chris Todd and Kodi Burns, a rotation that may have saved the Tigers in Saturday’s 14-12 win over Tennessee. Todd will remain the starter and Burns will come in out of the bullpen, Tuberville said Sunday.
Tuberville said Burns “gave us an opportunity to get the fans excited. He made some athletic plays.
“We’ve got to get him in more of those situations. Chris is getting better, too.”
On the offense: “We made some progress in some areas; some we haven’t.” Still, “If it wasn’t for the defense, we would have lost the game.”
