Player losses hamper State’s offensive line

Nothing gets easier for Mississippi State.
In fact, you might say the Bulldogs are staring down the barrel of a possible fourth 1-4 start in Sylvester Croom’s five seasons as the MSU coach. Even worse, State’s only victory to date came against a Division I-AA opponent, Southeastern Louisiana.

Mississippi State (1-3, 0-1 in the SEC) is on the road to face the fifth-ranked LSU Tigers on Saturday night at Tiger Stadium. LSU (3-0, 1-0) earned its first victory at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium in 10 years, rallying in the fourth quarter to win 26-21.
