SEC Fastball: Georgia shows Pac-10 how it’s done

Ready for your weekly dose of SEC football? Then read on.

1. Georgia shows Pac-10 how it’s done: Many had circled the date on the calendar before the season started. Georgia at Arizona State on Sept. 20. Sure, the Sun Devils got caught looking ahead last week and ended up falling to UNLV as a result. Still, this game was huge for bragging rights, with the supposed best in the SEC going up against a team that many believed was No. 2 in the Pac-10.

In the end, the Bulldogs’ Knowshon Moreno rushed for 149 yards through some nice holes and quarterback Mathew Stafford completed 16 of 28 passes for 285 yards. All told, Arizona State managed a whopping 4 yards rushing.
