Comey leaves LA in a Mississippi jet
After confirming his firing on Tuesday, Comey headed for the Los Angeles International Airport. Helicopters for several television stations captured video of police escorting his motorcade to theairport.
Arriving at the airport at about 6 p.m., he boarded a jet, which FAA records reveal is a 2012 Gulfstream 550 jet owned by Tenax Aerospace in Madison. The company specializes in providing transportation for corporate executives and government officials.
