Board of Aldermen vote to suspend Moss Point Chief of Police without pay
The Moss Point Board of Aldermen held an emergency meeting Tuesday afternoon to discuss a controversy surrounding Moss Point Chief of Police Art McClung.
Following discussion, the board voted to suspend McClung while it investigated the matter further.
On Tuesday, the Sun Herald released dash cam footage of McClung being pulled over by Pascagoula police for reckless driving. When an officer approached the driver, he recognized it was McClung and according to dash cam footage, the officer could be heard saying, “he’s toasted.”
