Two individuals have qualified to run in the special election set for Sept. 13 to fill the Ward 2 Alderman seat vacated by Shirley Kite.
Candidates submitting qualifying petitions for the post are Ronnie Hale and Brandon Henley. The deadline to qualify to run for the Ward 2 seat was Aug. 24.
