Governor Bryant: Supreme Court abortion ruling ‘detrimental to women’s health’
MISSISSIPPI (WDAM) –
Governor Phil Bryant released a statement regarding the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Texas abortion clinic regulations.
Governor Bryant issued the following statement:
“”I am disappointed in the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision today. This measure is designed to protect the health and safety of women who undergo this potentially dangerous procedure, and physicians who provided abortions should be held to the same standards as physicians who perform other outpatient procedures.” ”
