Scalia had deep ties, friendships in Mississippi
“He was just a great wit. He was so funny she was laughing at everything he said. I will miss him, just duck hunting, being out with him as a regular guy,” Hosemann said, recalling a dinner during that trip. “But this is a real loss to the country, and to those of us who believe in the Constitution, because he was a real champion for it.”
Hosemann, who hunted with the justice during many Delta trips, called Scalia “an intellectual icon.”
