Wicker Statement on President’s Gun Control Overreach
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., issued the following statement regarding President Obama’s new executive order to expand gun control:
“No president of the United States has the power to infringe on the rights granted by the Second Amendment. Congress and the courts should promptly step in to reverse this executive overreach.”
Wicker has a 100 percent voting record in favor of Second Amendment rights. He has an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association.
