Says he should be paid like other superintendents in SW Miss.
Amite County School District’s superintendent is seeking a pay raise.
The Enterprise-Journal reported Superintendent Scotty Whittington asked trustees for a raise at last week’s school board meeting. Whittington said he deserves a salary comparable to what other superintendents in southwest Mississippi make….
…Whittington, who won his election in November, will begin serving his second term in January.
