Quick flip: Steverson switch to GOP gives supermajority
Bobby Harrison at the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal is reporting that state Rep. Jody Steverson, D-Ripley, plans to switch to the Republican Party — just two days after his re-election as a Democrat.
This would give the House GOP a 74-seat supermajority.
