Ware wraps up ballot inspection
The Dave Ware campaign has wrapped up its ballot inspection.
Now the mayoral candidate and his team must ponder whether to challenge his June 4 defeat at the hands of Mayor Johnny DuPree through a circuit court petition.
“We’ll make our intentions known either late this week or early next week,” said David Morris, Ware’s campaign manager.
The Ware team has been combing through nearly 700 absentee and affidavit ballots since June 11 to see if there is any basis for a legal case.
